Our Sincere Apologies for Today’s Closure
Dear Smoke Rise Residents,
I want to personally apologize for the short notice regarding the Inn being closed today due to a wedding.
I understand that the Inn is part of the Smoke Rise community, and I also understand how frustrating it can be when residents make plans to enjoy the Inn, only to find out on a short notice that it's unavailable.
Today’s closure is the result of a previously scheduled wedding, and while weddings are an important part of the Inn’s business, I recognize that our residents are equally important to us. The Inn exists within this community, and we have a responsibility to communicate better and give you as much advance notice as possible when private events affect regular resident access.
I am genuinely sorry that we did not provide better notice today.
I also want you to know that I hear the concerns surrounding the balance between growing the Inn’s business and preserving the experience and access that residents value. That balance matters to me personally, and it is something I am continuing to work on.
